You might think this is a picture of our wedding photo and well, you'd be right. That's not what I was going for here. Look up a bit, above the picture. See that ledge? See how empty it looks? We spent our 1st Christmas in this house in 2006. That year we decided to put little 4 ft Christmas trees on that ledge. We had 3 in the living room and 3 in the dining room. We had every intention of taking them down after Christmas. We never did. They stayed up all year. 2007 came and we swore this was the year we'd bring in the ladder and get them down. We didn't. 2008 came, then 2009, and now 2010. Those trees were up on our ledge for FOUR years people. This year Paul decided to take them down. We have to bring in the ladder to take apart our 12 ft tree anyway so he did it. This is the aftermath..it's just nothing. It feels empty and I actually think I liked them there all year.
