7/31/11: It's actually happening...

We are actually growing things in our garden.  Since this is the first year I wasn't sure how it would go or if we would be any good at it.  We picked our second piece (?) of produce today, a big ole green pepper!  In other garden news, our corn looks awesome, I see tons of cucumbers, cantaloupe, tomatoes, and watermelon.  I can't wait to eat all of this stuff!

Well come on, you knew you'd see her face in here again sooner or later...

7/30/11: Dirty 30!

Many of the girls on my mom board turned/will turn 30 in 2011.  We decided we needed to celebrate this momentous occasion with a GTG.  We ending up picking an Indians game (and a great one at that!) and everyone met downtown to start the festivities.  All in all I think there were around 25 of us.  The weather was perfect, the game was awesome, and the company was even better! We even got to enjoy a great fireworks show after the game as part of Rock N Blast. While I was sad that I was unable to go out afterwards with everyone, I'm very much looking forward to the next big group GTG when I am a lot less pregnant. :)

7/29/11: "She can sleep in here, but it's MY room!"

These were the words Morgan uttered to me today.  Before #3 arrives we need to do some musical rooms.  Okay, only Rylee will be playing musical rooms as she is going to be moving in with Morgan.  In anticipation for this move, I had to stock up on organizers.  I could marry ClosetMaid and their fabric drawers and wonderful shelf/cabinet systems.  The closet in Morgan's room is fairly small and adding another chickadee to the room isn't exactly ideal as far as clothing and shoes, etc. go.  I bought two of the white shelves you see. One to put in their closet for shoes, bags, etc.  The other will be in the corner of their room to be used for toys, decorative stuff, etc.  The 9 cube shelf is going to go in Rylee's current room in the closet to store bibs, diapers, and the 800 other things a baby seems to need.  Rylee will be making the switch around Halloween so cross your fingers for us!

7/28/11: Target Score!

So I caught wind of an awesome clearance sale at Target today.  They had a bunch of carseats that were 50% or more off.  I knew before Baby #3 comes along we would need two new carseats (one for each car) for Morgan.  There is just no way we could fit an infant carrier and the two carseats the girls are currently in in my car.  I needed a slightly skinnier carseat for Mo and one that would grow with her until she was done with carseats in general.  I decided on the Graco 3 -in- 1.  I went to the Stow store first and they were completely out of carseats except for a cheapo infant carrier.  I decided to head up real quick to Chapel Hill and they had ONE left! Score!  At Target the new 3 -in- 1's are retailing for anywhere from 140-180.  I got this carseat for 72 bucks!  Unfortunately I couldn't find another one anywhere but at least I got one for a good deal.  Better than paying full price for two!

7/27/11: I'm 30, Giddy up!

Team Blue

Team Pink

So I'm 30. I'm the most excited 30 year old in the world! :)  The last few years have had a lot of ups and downs for our family.  2011 though so far has been a banner year.  Lots of big things have happened and there is so much more to come.  I'm very lucky to be surrounded by awesome friends and family.  Some of those awesome people joined us for some ice cream cake, pizza, and cupcakes tonight. To be honest the original plan was for everyone (Paul and I included) to find out the gender of baby #3 that evening.  Since my appt was switched from this morning to yesterday morning we had a change of plans.  I knew there was no way I could go to the appt and then wait 36 hours before finding out.  As you know Paul and I ended up finding out and then surprised everyone else tonight.

I filled the cupcakes I had made with pink frosting and we had everyone bite into them at the same time.  Team Pink wins again! Of course no birthday is complete without a Cleveland Indians ice cream cake. Thanks everyone for coming out and celebrating with us! I'm really looking forward to my 30s!

7/26/11: Third time's a charm?

How far along? 20w

Total weight gain/loss: Are you kidding?  After gaining nothing so far I had gained 8 lbs at the doctor this morning.  I weighed myself later and was down 3 lbs from that.  I did have to chug an insane amount of water before this visit.  Let's say 5lbs total so far!

Maternity clothes? Man I need to get some more.  I keep going through my clothes but I have mostly winterish stuff.  I need a few summery tops to get me through.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep:  Still loving it!

Best moment this week:  See a happy, very active, healthy baby at our U/S

Movement: All the time.  This scares me.  Morgan and Rylee chilled most of the time and in fact I have an U/S pic of each of them with their hands behind their heads.  This one?  All over the place, all the time.

Food cravings: Dr. Pepper and chocolate this week

Gender: Baby GIRL #3!!!!

Labor Signs: No. Amen.

Belly Button in or out? In

What I miss: I can't believe I'm going to say this...RUNNING.  It's just too damn hot.

What I am looking forward to: Dressing 3 girls up in cute outfits for the Holidays!

Weekly WTF: Really? 3 girls? Will we survive the teenage years?

Nesting madness: I'm an organizing fool.

Weekly Wisdom: Girls Rule! :)

Milestones:  A healthy baby girl!!

That's right folks baby #3 is a happy, healthy, extremely active little GIRL!  As Morgan says "Go Team! Team Pink!"

7/25/11: August 11, 2012

It's official.  Almost 6 years after Paul and I, Kelly and Greg will be getting married August 11, 2012.  That evening we will be getting down in the South Ballroom of Guys Party Center.  The same place that Paul and I had our reception.  I really really really loved Guys so I'm glad that Kelly decided to go with them too.  I guess it doesn't hurt that Greg's uncle owns the joint, huh?

Let the wedding planning begin!!!  I'm almost excited as I was for my own wedding!  Probably more so since, I don't actually have to worry about everything.  I do need to start saving though...next summer is looking to be quite expensive. I can't wait though!

7/24/11: Say hello to my little friend!

On the recommendation from my SIL Kim, I got me one these spot bot pet machines.  Holy hell, I love!  This nifty little humdinger is awesome for those times when the cats horse down their food and then promptly hack it up 30 minutes later.  Or when the dogs do the exact same thing.  Or when the kids decide to spill juice or God knows whatever else they happen to have.  All you have to do is set this little machine over top of your stain, hit the button, and walk away!  You don't even have to do the work!  It does it all for you and works great!  I can't tell you how much I was able to get cleaned in the basement while simultaneously cleaning cat barf.  It's the little things in life that get me excited these days...

7/23/11: Just Relax, it's hot as hell.

The lady who put it all in motion!

Let me start off by saying that I didn't actually take any of these pics.  I stole some from Andrea's Blog and Lynn Berger and Tammy Schimpf's Facebook pages.  Now that the royalties are out of the way let me tell you about how fabulous and hot tonight was.

I cannot begin to describe how awesome the night went.  I'm incredibly blessed to have found a super group of women who started out as internet buddies but, that I now call my friends. Tonight was a double bonus because I got to meet a lot of them in person tonight.  Everyone really came together from decorating, to cooking, to donating, etc. etc. etc.  Even people who couldn't attend and don't even reside in Ohio these days. I was super proud to be a part of this event.  I can't leave out the husbands either.  Everyone's husband who was there (mine included) jumped in and helped the entire night.  They totally rocked.

This idea started out so small just a mere few months ago and to see it all come together tonight was incredible.  The fact that we had no air conditioning didn't phase anyone either.  Except my hair.  I am not a pretty sweat-er. :)  We were uber successful and raised upwards of $10,000 for the Kneppers!  Can you believe it!?!

Nights like these leave you all warm and fuzzy and gives a restored appreciation for the kindness that still lives in people.  There is so much negative in the world at times, it's great to see a community come together for one of its own.

Or maybe two of its own. :)

7/22/11: It never fails...

Whenever it's time to blog I always find a handful of Morgan self-portraits that I didn't know were there.  Here are her newest ones. Not her best work, she must have been pressed for time...AKA she took this while we weren't around/looking and was under the gun to get these pics taken before we returned.
