12/31/11: Happy New Year!

It's finally here, my last post of 2011.  I have officially accomplished my 2011 New Years resolution and took a picture every day and blogged about it.  This is one of the best things I ever decided to do. I plan to turn our blog of 2011 into a book and maybe even make copies for the kids to have when they are older. One of my 2012 resolutions is to continue the blog but just not every day.  If anyone is even thinking about doing this in 2012, DO IT! You won't regret it.  So nice to look back at our year as family.

2011 was a truly incredible year for our family.  Here is a short list of those things.

Paul: Promoted at work, ran a 5K, and still remained the only testosterone around these parts.
Kristy: Started a fantastic new job, got pregnant, and turned the big 3-0! .
Together we celebrated 5 years of marriage and 9 years together.
Morgan: Started preschool, ran a 5K, got her ears pierced, and turned the big 3!
Rylee: Started walking, started talking, turned 1, and became a big sister.
Tenley: She arrived and joined our chaotic family! :)

We have truly been blessed in 2011 and are anticipating a fun filled, healthy, and happy New Year.  2012 will bring us a wedding and a new brother-in-law and uncle, 3 beautiful girls, and I'm sure so much more.

Happy New Year from our family to yours!

12/29/11: Three Beautiful Blessings.

Four if you count Paul and of course I do. I am extremely blessed.

12/28/11: Best Friends Forever!

This is usually a phrase I only hear at night when they are in bed.  Morgan will grab Rylee's hand and scream it as loud as possible. It's cute. Almost as cute as these pictures.

12/27/11: Morgan gets her ears pierced!

Morgan has been asking for the past few weeks to get her ears pierced. For whatever reason today she would not stop asking. I decided to show her a video of a girl getting her ears pierced so she knew what she was in for before she made her decision. I told her everything they were going to do and she said she still wanted to do it.  On a side note she wanted to watch a video she saw of a girl crying while getting her ears pierced. I decided against that.

When Paul got home, we headed to the mall. At this point, I thought she still might back out because she sometimes does that. For example, pictures with Santa. To my surprise she hopped right up in the chair. They made the marks on her ears and got set to pierce. Thankfully they did it at the same time. When they actually did it her little eyes welled up for a second but she didn't actually cry. :sigh: My little girl is growing up.

12/26/11: Girls just want to have fun

Especially these two.  Fun apparently comes in the form of WWE wrestling.

12/25/11: Merry Christmas!

Two Christmas' running I have this same picture of her.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
