New Year's Eve

Somehow we have started a tradition of Kelly and Mack coming over on New Year's Eve.  We usually get some sort of takeout, the kids stay up until midnight and the adults have some beverages.  This year was no different.  The girls got to run around like hooligans, toast with sparkling grape juice and wrestle each other all night long.

Rylee was more of an observer than a participant in the wrestling festivities.  Frankly, that fact surprises me.

Labor Day in PIB

My siblings and I plus our significant others went to PIB for Labor Day weekend.  It was a nice way to officially end summer. I didn't take hardly any pictures and we didn't do a whole lot worth blogging about.  The pictures below are the ones I did get..

Exhibit #1 - The fan that was supposedly broken when the boys stayed in PIB for the Bachelor Party.  They kept $250 dollars security from then.  Almost two months later it's still not fixed.

Okay this girl spent the whole weekend at what I would call an adult themed pool with her two kids. She looks a lot like one of Kelly's friends. Someone, somehow got this picture with my phone, but it wasn't me.

The quick run down went like this:

We went to the pool.

We went to the bars.

We went out to eat.

We rented a golf cart.

The boys rented mopeds.

Keith and Melissa came.

We visited Greg's Aunt and Uncle

Some people threw up.

Shenanigans were had by all.

The Richmond Wedding

The day finally came.  All the work and time everyone had put in all summer was finally going to be able to be shown off.  There is so much to say about this day and I will never get to it all.  Once the professional pictures come back, I'll do a separate blog post and get a few more details in there. For now I think all anyone needs to know is that minus Kelly not feeling good AGAIN for a small part during the reception and doing some dry heaving in the bathroom, everything went off without a hitch! Kelly (and my mom) spent a few long days and nights leading up to the wedding and it all turned out fabulous.  The girls could not have looked cuter in their dresses and with their hair done and Kelly and Greg looked awesome as well.

I also have to give a HUGE thank you to Nanny Melind and her services that weekend.  She spent the ENTIRE weekend with us and helped wrangle all the kids. She was such a huge help and we just can't thank her enough.

The biggest hit of the night for everyone was by far the Photobooth!  Rylee was a huge fan of all the props and was in it every other second.  

The girls did such a great job and Morgan and Tenley were whooped by the end of the night.  Rylee on the other hand had to be pinned into her bed at the hotel room. I'm definitely both happy and sad that the wedding is over and am looking forward to when my brother gets married one day and we get to do this all over again!
