The OHSAA and Ohio State really do a good job putting on the tournament each year. The finals by far are the coolest session. There are some fireworks, the lights go out, they put together an awesome video played on the Jumbotron from the whole weekend. There were a few other cool things this year too.. A) 2 local wrestlers were in the finals, one from Field, woop! woop! and B) We got to see 3 4 time state champs all from the same school. Those of you not familiar with wrestling, 4 time state champs hardly ever happen..err..at least they didn't used to. There are only 22 to date and never have 3 come from the same school in the same year. They list all the 2-time, 3-time, and 4-time champs in the program, I always double check that my dad is still #45 under the 2-timers. Not like it's going to change but always fun to see!
Poor Rylee just couldn't hang by the end of the night. It was a great end to a great weekend! I'm already looking forward to next year!
