7/11/11: Happy (Early) Birthday Roman!

This is actually under Morgan's bed. :)

So tomorrow is actually Roman's birthday but I have like 800 other things to blog about so we're doing this early.  Roman is 2 tomorrow!!  Roman became a part of our family shortly after one of our very first cats Leo passed away.  It was about a month after Morgan was born and while I wasn't opposed to taking in another cat, I wasn't exactly looking for one either.  My brother's (ex) girlfriend at the time worked for a vet's office and she had taken him in since he was a stray.  He wasn't exactly getting along with her other cat and she decided she needed to find him another home.  Like I said I wasn't exactly in the market for another cat but somehow she twisted Paul's arm.  He showed me a picture and was all, well he is pretty cute.  Duh, all kittens are Paul!  So we decided to add him to our family.  He's always been a tiny little thing but he is super friendly.  Sometimes his "friendliness" is annoying as shit.  He always wants to be in your lap, sleeping right next to you, basically as close as he can get to you without actually attaching himself to you.  Many times I'll check on Morgan during her naps or after she's gone to bed at night and find him mixed in with all the blankets and stuffed animals on her bed.  My biggest pet peeve with him is that he terrorizes our other cat Henri.  She wants nothing to do with him and he will not leave her alone.  I wish he'd take a hint already.  Other than that he has been a splendid addition to our little zoo!  Happy Birthday Buddy!
