Summer Family Pictures

We had our annual family/birthday pictures taken with Tami again!  This year we decided to head to the front campus of Kent State.  I was quite pleased with my idea once we got there since there were so many great photo opportunities.  Tami did a fabulous job, once again!

Family/Birthday Pictures

Back around Thanksgiving we also got our fall/holiday/1st birthday pictures taken by Tamarie Photography.  I don't have much else to say and most of you have seen these since you already got our Christmas card.  Again, way behind.

Leftovers/Early Summer Recap

I have a bunch of things I want to include but I'm too lazy and too far behind to blog about all of them separately.  So I introduce you to:

THE JUMBO POST!
(imagine that in deep announcer voice)

Section One: Family Pictures

Every June the older two get their birthday pictures taken by the extraordinary Tami Keehn of Tamarie Photography.  It's our summer family pictures but with a focus on those two.  We headed to downtown Kent this year and got some good shots!  Here are the ones I decided on.

no clue what the three of them are looking at.

She is Trouble. Yes, I capital T-ed it.

She looks so grown up.  I can't believe she's 4!

Bossypants. This picture just fits her to a T.

Love, love, LOVE this picture of all of us!

Section Two: Randoms

Just so randoms of the girls all playing together.

I forgot to mention, she loves to pull the hair.  Morgan is not a fan of that skill.

This is how I find them or some version of this, 99% of the time.

Section Three: Strawberry Picking!

Every June we try to get out and pick some strawberries.  Strawberry season was short this year since the weather was funky but we made it! Somehow I don't envision Morgan growing up and choosing manual labor as a career choice.  She gets tired of it after about 5 minutes.  Rylee is more interested in eating than picking. Same as last year.

Section Four: The Drive-In

We've made it to the drive-in TWICE this summer to see Madagascar 3 and Brave.  It's so nice to have a drive-in within a 5 minute drive.  This particular trip was to Madagascar and our neighbors/friends/babysitter/jack of all trades came with us. The kids loved it!

Section Five: Swimming Lessons:

After taking a hiatus from swimming lessons last year, we are back at it.  Morgan is on her own this year in her class and Rylee and Paul are doing the parent-child.  In true Rylee fashion, she doesn't like it until she's good and ready to like it.  Could be 5 minutes into it, could be 20.  Mackenzie and Morgan are in the same class together so that helps and well sometimes gets them distracted.  I do have to point out my HUGE MOM FAIL when I attempted to take them the first week and thought it started at 10:30 when in fact it started at 10:00.  The looks on their faces could have brought me to my knees.  Good thing they are easily distracted and ice cream helps!

We are really enjoying our summer so far!
