Morgan's preschool hand their annual Spaghetti dinner at the end of September which just happens to be their biggest fundraiser. Since I'm on the preschool board I have quite a bit of involvement with this fundraiser. Which clearly means this was not the week to get violently ill, but I did, and so did Paul. Earlier that week on Wednesday both Paul and I spent time (separately) in the emergency room. We both came down with some awful stomach bug or something. Paul was even throwing up blood at one point. It was not good. We both became extremely dehydrated which of course warrants some IV fluids. The day of the spaghetti dinner was also the day of the Akron Half. I had made plans for weeks to juggle everything I had to do that day. It all went to shit though because I wasn't able to run. Something that I won't lie, I'm still struggling with a little bit. I've spent the entire year since I've had Tenley training. This was supposed to be my grand hoorah and instead I got lots of vomit and a lecture from my dad. Enough of my pity party....
I ran all my fundraiser errands earlier in the day and then came home to get the kids ready. Every parent has to work a shift and I was the ticket taker for the second part of the dinner. We went up right when it started so we could eat before I had to start working. The kids got all dressed up for the occasion.
Grandma and Grandpa plus Corey and Ashley came to support both Morgan and Mackenzie. I'm not sure what is even happening in this picture below.

Working hard or hardly working?
We had some raffle baskets that we're a huge hit this year! Here are a some pictures of a few.
Most of all the girls have a great time seeing their friends and running around and playing. Also, the preschool raises money to help them throughout the year with expenses. A great time was had by all!
