I've been hearing about Kalahari from a lot of my mom friends for years. The kids were never old enough to really enjoy it and we could never really justify the cost with me not working. I found a weekend deal over President's day and since I was bringing home some bacon now, I booked it for us to get away for a bit just the five of us. I was really impressed with the place. There was so much to do, not only for the kids but for adults too. Paul and I both said we wouldn't mine going back with just some of our friends or family without the kids sometime.
Since Tenley isn't exactly an experienced swimmer yet, she hung with me poolside and we watched her big sisters run around and play. Please note that I in no way shape or form posed her finger like that in the last picture. She just really doesn't like pink apparently.
She apparently wasn't as impressed as her sisters were.
Morgan was in heaven. She ran all over that place and was a little fish.
Hanging out in the room. or should I say destroying it.
These pictures took place while we were waiting for dinner on Saturday night. Paul took Morgan and Rylee downstairs to the arcade to play games while T and I sat in lounge-y area to wait. About a half hour later I texted Paul that our table was ready. He replied back that Morgan had won some jackpot and the machine was spitting out tickets. All in all it took abot 15 minutes for her 3500 tickets to spit out. Paul needed a garbage bag to carry them back to the room.
Here is the aftermath.
Enjoying their last day at the waterpark.
Unfortunately the only downside to the weekend was that I lost my cell phone or it was stolen. I'm guessing it was the latter because I tried to call it to find it and it went straight to voicemail and it certainly wasn't dead My guess is I left it in the room before we checked out and someone swiped it from there and then turned it off. Boo!!!!
