10/18/11: 32 Weeks!

Morgan broke my full length mirror this week so this is all you get.

How far along? 32 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 22 lbs.  Oh the swelling

Maternity clothes? Even some of them aren't fitting at this stage.  Well they fit but do not look cute anymore.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep: I'm exhausted.  Taking it whenever I can get it!

Best moment this week:  Simple no fuss checkup

Food cravings:  Apples have been good lately.  Again, I'm getting full fast.

Labor Signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks and she's head down and low already.

Belly Button in or out? In

Movement: Yes

What I miss:  My feet.

What I am looking forward to:  The light at the end here.

Weekly WTF: Good checkup this week but still a bit of protein. 

Nesting madness: Making a list, and checking it twice...

10/17/11: Funny Faces by Morgan

Today Morgan decided to not take pictures of herself and instead told Daddy EXACTLY what kind of funny face he could make.  Attractive, no?

10/16/11: Dussel Farm

We ran out for a quick trip this morning to get our pumpkins at Dussel.  We take the girls every year and they pick out their pumpkins and check out the decorations.  Kelly, Greg, and, Mackenzie met up with us and the girls ran around and had a good time despite the rain.  Morgan was able to get her face painted again and we got some good photo opps of the kids.

10/15/11: Bowman 5K

Today 3 of the 4 of us participated in the Bowman 5K.  Morgan still wasn't feeling that well and it was kind of crummy out but we did it anyway. She wasn't a happy camper to get up early to go do this but once we got started she was okay.  She did however decide throughout the course that she just wanted to walk and not run.  I heard some "I wanna go back to bed" and "where is Daddy?"    

Daddy finished in a time of 23:06 and came back afterwards to run with Morgan but she insisted he carry her a little ways. We ended up finishing in around 1 hour and both Morgan and I were dead last. LOL.  She claims she had fun though and really enjoyed the snacks afterwards and says she wants to do it again next year.

After the race we took our annual after race trip to Starbucks and set up outside to watch the Homecoming parade which was easily the best part of the girls morning.  They came back with an entire back of candy and gizmos.  We all took some long naps and spent the rest of the day at home recouping.  Nice little family Saturday!

10/14/11: Sick Kids :(

Both of the girls were sick today so I stayed home from work to mend them back to health.  While they really didn't get 100% healthy, they did get some rest and some quality mommy time. I wasn't able to get a picture of Morgan but Rylee spent a lot of her time vegging on the couch. Daddy was able to join her when he came home from work. My guess is they will now have runny noses and coughs until next May.  It's officially cold and flu season people!

10/13/11: Girls Room Sneak Peek

Here is a quick sneak peek of the girls vinyl decals I got up in their room last week. Making the last minute touches before Rylee moves in permanently in a couple weeks.  The have the PBK Brooke bedding and I think it all looks so cute together.  Morgan really likes them!  Total bedroom post to come at the end of the month. Hopefully my attempt to cram all their clothes in one room with a small closet is successful!

10/12/11: Shameless Fundraiser Plug

As many of you know I started preschool this year! Everything is going really great!

For preschool, one of our first fundraisers has started!  

I'm selling two things that might interest you!

First, cookie dough!  Along with pumpkin rolls, Auntie Anne's pretzels, french bread pizzas, cinnamon rolls etc! Pictures of the brochure are above.

If you wish to order just get in touch with my mommy. The food portion will  be in by Thanksgiving and the candles will be here the first week or so of December.

All money is due at time of ordering and orders close on October 27 so that only leaves you a couple weeks.

10/11/11: 31 Weeks!

How far along? 31 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Well retaining water is well under way so  we are at about 20lbs total.

Maternity clothes? Blah.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep: Some nights are great, others not so much.  I won't complain...I'm getting more now than I will in a couple months.

Best moment this week:  No impending doom of preeclampsia! No more protein,  BP still on the rise but normal.

Food cravings:  Cottage Cheese!

Labor Signs: Definitely had some actual painful contractions for about an hour last Saturday.  Probably a result of doing too much Sat and Sun with the kids.

Belly Button in or out? In

Movement: Yes

What I miss: The way it feels to just not be pregnant.  Just for a day.

What I am looking forward to:  Halloween and Thanksgiving...that just seems like a lot of good food for a PG womans.

Weekly WTF: My blood pressure was actually not low...I don't think I ever had a top number over 120.

Nesting madness: There isn't enough time in the day anymore.

Weekly Wisdom: Note to self, remember these last few weeks next time you decide to get pregnant and have kids 18 months apart.

Milestones: 2 more months!!  (Hopefully no more!)

10/10/11: Pretty Nails

Morgan has been begging me to paint her nails for weeks and I finally got around to it.  She requested both blue and pink, so this is what she got!  She was very proud of them and told me she couldn't wait to show Mrs. Mix. (Her Preschool teacher)

I'll have you know he was standing right across from her the entire time.  How are men so oblivious sometimes?

10/8/11: Patterson Family Fun Fest

We spent this gorgeous Saturday up at the Patterson Family Fun Fest in Chesterland.  We had gone last year but the weather was a bit rainy that day. Today was beautiful and HOT and it seems everyone had the same idea. There were so many people there, I couldn't believe it.

The girls got to play on the slides, in the hay, the sand, etc. There was a corn maze, face painting, and a horse ride. Rylee of course as seen above fell in the mud in the corn maze and made a mess of herself. Matter of fact both girls were a mess by the time we left. We enjoyed some AWESOME kettle corn and the girls shared some superman icecream.

Morgan was very excited to get her face painted and picked a pink flower. That was probably one of her highlights of the day. Rylee's highlight? Eating apples. She really loved those things. If you've never been to Patterson's I encourage you to go, there is so much to do! We've made it an annual family event!
