9/13/11: First day of Preschool

Let me start by saying I do realize that Rylee is in the same outfit as the pictures from last Thursday.  That is merely coincidence.

Today was Morgan's first day on her own at preschool.  She was beyond excited and wanted to leave the minute she got up.  She was concerned that Rylee would be sad when she was gone though.  I wouldn't say she was sad but she did wander around for a while only to lay in the middle of the floor and look around.  I think she's more unsure of what to do with herself without big sis around.

When it was time to pick Morgan up I asked Rylee if she was ready to go get her and she shrieked and ran to the door. I guess she missed big sis.  We picked Morgan up and she got in the car and said "Did you miss me!?!  We went to get a special lunch at Wendys and when we got home she showed me all the papers she did.  She also told me all about her new friends and the cupcake she had for a treat! She can't wait to go back! As she was going down for a nap I told her how proud of her Daddy and I were to which she replied " I know, I know you love me."  Hahaha...

9/12/11: 26 Weeks 6 Days

How far along? We're just going to say 27w

Total weight gain/loss: 14 lbs total

Maternity clothes? I'm impressed that I'm still able to wear some regular pants/shirts.  I'm not sure how though.

Stretch marks? Nope!

Sleep: Oy.

Best moment this week:  Trying out some of my fall wardrobe.

Food cravings:  Blizzards.  Which is weird because I'm not a huge ice cream person. I think it my be my new favorite blizzard which is oreo and cookie dough mixed!

Labor Signs: Not yet!

Belly Button in or out? In

Movement: Yes

What I miss: Drinking during football games...it's just not the same..plus with the Browns it's almost like you NEED beer to watch.

What I am looking forward to:  In reference to the above.  Jan 1. Me - not pregnant @ the Browns/Steelers game.

Weekly WTF: Middle of September already!?!

Nesting madness: Love marking off the To-Do List!

Weekly Wisdom: For those of you who have control over your bodily functions - Embrace and Enjoy it.

Milestones:  I'm definitely proud of my weight gain so far.  I gained a lot with Morgan and I've been better about it each pregnancy.  I still fully expect to have an 8 or 9 lb baby though.

9/11/11: Pinterest Project #2 - Family Binder

I'm not completely finished yet because I have to run out and get a few items but for the most part it's done. I found this idea on Pinterest to create a binder with all our important family information.  I figured with me going back to work, Morgan starting preschool, and the numerous other things going on we needed to be very organized.  The binder ended up having about 30-some sections plus a section in the back for each month of the year.  We've got all our bills, kids, insurance, addresses, etc. in one easy peasy place.  So far it's awesome not having things scattered all over and not having to go to the basement every time we need to pull something out of the filing cabinet.  Yay Pinterest!!!!

9/10/11: In my swagger wagon...

Okay so it's not a swagger wagon but it is my new 8 passenger car.  We got our new ride this weekend and I love it so far.  We knew before baby #3 came that we would definitely need more room as in a third row of some sort.  I also knew a long time ago that I wanted a Chevy Traverse. The trouble was finding the right one with the accessories we wanted for a decent price.  We got a 2011 and I think we got a good deal.  It was a sunroof, DVDs in the headrests for the kids, luggage rack, heated front seats, 8 passenger, and a lot more!  Morgan loves it but also told me she misses daddy's car.  I'm almost a soccer mom y'all!

9/9/11: Reading Fool

I bought a ton of books before vacation thinking I would get to actually read some.  I guess I forgot I was taking my kids on vacation with me.  I was only able to read a little bit of Tina Fey's book while we were in the OBX.  So I've been trying to read these all for the past few months and managed to go on a little reading spree and get these ones finished.  I liked them all but I have to say I loved Tina Fey's the most.  Easy read, funny, and just awesome book.  I liked Chelsea's too but I found some of her other books to be a better, easy read.  I absolutely love Bethenny so I grabbed that one too. While it's more of an inspirational,/motivational book, it was really good.  I think I relate to the book well since we have a lot of the same ideas about going after and getting what you want. It was a good reminder though while reading it. If you are young, at a crossroads, between jobs, etc. it's a great book to read!  I recommend them all!

9/8/11: Preschool Orientation

I can't believe this is happening.  Today was Morgan's preschool orientation day. We got to go together and spend some time in the classroom and meet her teacher and new classmates.  Time really does fly.  She looks so grown up in these pictures.  First thing she woke up this morning, which was like 7:30 she was begging to go already.

We had a good time that started with mingling with the other kids and playing with the toys.  Then she got to go over to the carpet squares with Mrs. Mix and they each told her something fun they did this summer.  Meanwhile Mommy was signing up for her Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser. (Tickets are available!!!  Let me know!)  Then we switched and got some info from Mrs. Mix while Morgan went to the tables to do a coloring project.  We wrapped up the day by doing a scavenger hunt and exploring the room and seeing everything.  She is very excited for her first day on Tuesday!

9/7/11: Football is in the air!

Well it is that time of year again.  The weather is getting cooler, the leaves will start changing, and the best thing of all.... FOOTBALL. Yes, this week the Browns and Buckeyes are back in action this week.  It has yet to be seen whether either team will be any good.

I mean, the Buckeyes beat Akron last week, but they are the WORST team in the NCAA. I think Field High School could beat them. They are THAT bad.

There are big hopes in Cleveland this year for the Brownies.  Yet another new coach and another new offense. We didn't add any go-to options for Offense in the off-season, but we added some run stoppers and pass rushers on Defense.  Let's hope we can have a good football season.

9/5/11: It finally happened

Oh yes, that is exactly what you think it is all over Morgan's carpet.  :Sigh:

This is never what you want to see when you go into a child's room after they nap. Well, after they were supposed to be napping.  Apparently Morgan pooped during her nap and tried to change her own diaper. We all know that obviously didn't go well.  Some fell on the floor and the little helper that Morgan is, she tried to clean it up for us.  With her hand.  And her cup. And apparently her shoe.

Next time kid, I do not need your help in the diaper department.  Thanks for trying though!

FYI, it thankfully all came out with the steam vac!

9/4/11: Paint, paint, paint

Well, painting started today in the living room.  Kristy picked out this color, a brownish color, to add in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. No more eggshell white in the main areas of our house. Once this is all painted, it leaves the master bedroom and bathroom as the only rooms that need painted. Didn't take too long to change the color of paint, just 5 YEARS!
But, even though it has taken this long to actually paint, the color is works great to pull out the color of the couches and new carpet we have.  I'm excited to get the kitchen done, because I plan on putting up a tile backsplash under the cabinets. As you can see, the living room is being done in stages, as there is just too much wall, and not enough people to watch the girls, to get it done at once. Work in progress, of course.

9/3/11: Tara and Stanwyck get married... FINALLY!

I say finally because people, they have been dating as long as Paul and I have.  That's 9 years.  I really hope it doesn't take Tara that long to get some kids out of him!  Paul and I had a great time seeing two of our good friends get married and seeing a lot of other old friends we hadn't seen in a while.  We were definitely the inappropriate table at the reception.  Since the booze was not flowing for me, I'm lucky the jokes were at our table.  I spent most of the night cracking up.

Congrats Chris and Tara!!!  We wish you the best!!!  Thanks for a great night!

9/2/11: Are you ready for some football!?!

Tonight was our annual fantasy football draft at BW's.  I'll start by saying I'm a bit salty.  We drafted at BW's last year but they were all out of drafting kits so we didn't get anything cool.  Like this awesome banner for the champion.  I got jipped last year.  You see, I won last year..yes I won money but I would like a cool banner to show for it too. For now all I can do is rub everyone's face in it until a new champ is crowned.  Most importantly Ed, Canale, and Paul.

Paul and I have been running the league for a while now.  At least 7 or so years.  This year we have 12 teams so it made it a bit more difficult during the draft to get some big names but overall I'm pretty happy with my team. I'm sure on some Sunday (probably this upcoming one here on the 11th) I will be screaming at Paul for giving me "advice" and yelling at my TV.  You know the Direct TV NFL package is a blessing and a curse.

If you are interested I ended up with the following on my Team:  Boldin and the Beautiful

QB - Matt Schaub
RB - MJD
RB - Michael Turner
WR - Anquan Boldin
WR - Hakeem Nicks
WR/RB - Ochocinco
TE - Owen Daniels
DEF - Hotlanta Falcons
K - Billy Cundiff

Bench:
RB - Mike Tolbert
RB - Danny Woodhead
RB - Delone Carter
WR - Greg Little
WR - Kenny Britt

All hail the reigning champ!

9/1/11: Coupon Organizer

Binder #1 is finished!!  This one was pretty easy though.  I found some printables on pinterest for the inserts and table of contents and then went from there.  I bought some festive binder dividers and labeled them with my fairly new label-er I purchased this summer. I stuck the printables in a protective sheet since they were so pretty.  Behind that I got some baseball card holders to hold all the coupons for that section.  I think there were about 40 sections all in all that printed out.  It's pretty awesome if I do say so myself.  I'm ready to shop!

Labor Signs: None yay!

Belly Button in or out? In

8/30/11: Morgan's first trip to the dentist!

Morgan had her first trip to the dentist today.  She was very excited (which kind of surprised me to be honest) and couldn't wait to go in. Until of course, we actually got back in the room.  She got a little scared and started crying when we first got back there and they asked her to get in the chair.  With a little help from mom, she hopped in the chair and let them start cleaning away.  She was such a good little girl, I was so stinkin proud of her.  She did everything the lady asked and eventually started enjoying herself.  Afterwards she got to pick a toy out of the treasure chest. She picked a little blue car.  What a big girl she is!
